Shipping

Question

I made a purchase for a car part. Waited 2 weeks and it still said it hasn't shipped. Seller claimed it has shipped out, that there were communication issues with usps.

So I requested a refund. Got my refund. The seller claimed he found the package. That he can sell it to me again. Gave me a discount. I was hesitant, but did it anyway. Now for the second time, still doesnt say shipped. Am I being scammed? Who actually gave me the refund, ebay or the seller?

@jodob-57 < Am I being scammed? > I don't think so. If this were a scam, I doubt you would have readily received a refund the first time. You wrote that after you waited two weeks "it still said it hasn't shipped" . . . you have two "its" in that phrase. The second it evidently refers to the car part. What does the first it refer to? What said the part hasn't shipped? Can I assume tracking? If so, which company is the carrier?

The refund came from the seller. It sounds like you will have to file another not received claim.

A seller that has continual problems with his PO generally learns to stand in line and get an acceptance scan. This way he can file a claim for the loss when a package goes missing. You might suggest this to your seller, just in case he does have 2 missing packages.
