If the buyer chooses a shipping method and eBay calculated the shipping then if I print the shipping label that is how much the post office will charge?
I am not understanding how they can calculate the cost without package weight and dimensions.

When using calculated shipping you need to enter the shipping service, package weight, and dimensions into the shipping section of the listing form when you create the listing. eBay then uses that information along with your location and the buyers to calculate the price. If you do not enter any information the system will use an average of similar items for the information. Not having the correct information will result in incorrect shipping charged to the buyer. You can not ask a buyer for more shipping after the item sells, so have all your packaging ready to go before you list.
