Im wondering if sellers are allowed to overcharge on shipping for their convenience? A ebay seller said in a message they overcharge for shipping cost incase a person returns the item so the seller dont have to pay the return shipping costs.

Mentor11 months agoThe seller can charge what they need/want for shipping. There are a few categories where it is limited.
If they charge too much, they may make their item unsellable because the shipping is too much.
The buyer does not have to purchase the item. If the buyer feels that the shipping is too much they should find another item to buy.
