Hi - I have an item that is pretty costly to ship and the buyer has asked if they can provide me with a shipping label and I change to free shipping - is this OK

Mentor1 year agoNo this is never a good idea, however one workaround is to add the Pickup Only option, buyer then selects that and can arrange for pickup or shipping. Just make sure you get the Pickup Confirmation Code from the buyer and enter it before handing the item over to the carrier.

Mentor1 year agoNo, do not allow a buyer to send his own label. You will lose your seller protection. You cannot ask the buyer to pay any more than what is displayed on the listing. If you made a mistake on the weight and/or dimensions of the package, you are responsible to pay the difference. You can always file a cancellation with Out of stock. That will record a defect on your account, but you can then use Sell Similar, correct the information and put the listing back up.
