I HAVE A POTENTIAL BUYER WHO CAN PICK UP AN ITEM RATHER THAN SHIP IT. AFTER THEY WIN THE AUCTION, CAN I REMOVE THE SHIPPING COST IF WE MET TO GIVE HOM THE ITEM??

Mentor1 year agoCancel the transaction with Problem with buyer's address so you do not receive a defect.
Select SELL SIMILAR to relist the item, and this time, include Local Pickup instead of shipping. The buyer then repurchases. ebay will then send a message to the buyer with the QR code (as well as 6 digit code) which the buyer shows you upon pickup.

In order for a Seller to prove to eBay that the item was picked up instead of shipped, the Seller needs to have Local Pickup as an option in their listing. Then the Buyer needs to select Local Pickup for eBay to send that Buyer a QR code for the Seller to scan on pickup and eBay will email them a six-digit code that the Seller can manually enter to prove pickup.
Without that proof of pickup, the Seller will most likely get a defect for late/not shipping.
