If you don't stand in line and get the Acceptance scan you are at risk at packages not getting scanned, it happens.

OP1 year agoOk thanks so does not getting scanned mean it won't get shipped could they get it all the way to it's destination without a scan? I mean if they don't scan it at start if that makes sense I hope it makes sense

USPS will scan it as part of their automated bulk centers but that could be the next day. Some packages never get scanned, meaning they might be stolen and never enter the carrier's package handling system. While that is rare it does happen.
You also risk a late shipping defect if the acceptance scan does not happen until the next day. While that is not an account killer it is a defect that can be avoided.
