I am a new seller and just made my first sale! 🙂 After I dropped the package off in a USPS Dropbox (this was on January 21) I messaged the buyer. Still now on January 24 I have no information on if the package has been shipped or even collected by USPS. Maybe the winter storm was part of this delay, and the sold price and item wasn’t anything of extreme value (if worst comes to worst I can just refund the buyer) but overall also messaged the buyer several times and no response. Trying to figure out the best course of action; do not want my account to be suspended or anything like that. Thanks!

I would not try to message the buyer - no point in getting him worried about his delivery.
You could call your PO and ask if box collections were/are being made as usual. Otherwise, you just have to wait for something to show up on the tracking. You can go to usps.com, track the package, then request email or text updates - then you will know as soon as the package is moving.
You might also ask your PO if there is a better place to drop your packages than the collection box. My PO has a place to put packages - a kind of chute in the wall that puts them right into the sorting bin.
