Item I bought says feee shipping. Now that usps tried to deliver there is a postage fee for item and I’m supposed to pick up at post office. How is this possible?

Mentor2 years agoFree shipping means the cost of the postage is rolled into the price of the item. It sounds like the seller did not pay enough postage to ship the item. If you do not pick up the item from the post office, it will be returned to the seller, and the seller will have to pay the postage due in order to get the item back. If you decide to pick up the item and pay the postage due, you can contact the seller with a copy of the postage due notice, and hopefully, s/he will refund you.
