As a buyer I expect a seller to get the item to the shipper the same day bought if early in the day . If later in the day, the next morn if possible. That is not the norm on EBAY and is getting worse. This has caused me to use Amazon more and more lately. If I am charged 10.00 or 9.95 if you prefer I expect that item to come first class 2 day unless it is heavy or bulky. Am I wrong???? Rant over.

You are free to set your own expectations. Sellers are also free to set their own handling times and shipping methods.
Every listing has the seller’s handling time, and details of the shipping costs and services. eBay expects sellers to meet those commitments, no more. Just click the shipping tab to see these details.
Do not buy from sellers who do not advertise handling times and shipping costs that meet your expectations. Remember that a large % of eBay sellers are not full time retailers like amazon, so it is not fair to expect same day shipment unless they offer it.

OP2 years agoYours is the best answer and I am free to choose Amazon over 7 day shipping if I am lucky
