A potential buyer has requested that I delay shipping for 7 days if she purchases it now..
will that affect my eBay account standing for late shipping?

Mentor2 years agoLet the buyer know that s/he can make the purchase, but delay PAYING for 7 days, as you need to ship within your handling time. Make sure you do not have your settings to automatically cancel the sale on day 5 if the buyer hasn't paid.

If the buyer has already paid, notify the seller to file a vacation hold with the post office. This way, they can hold all packages and mail until s/he returns. You can then ship within your handling time.
