eBay uses the weight and dimensions you enter. Never let eBay suggest what to enter. You can not ask the buyer for more shipping $.
Your only choice on the cancellation is 'I am out of stock/I can't complete the transaction'. Send the buyer an apologetic note explaining your mistake so that maybe they won't leave you negative feedback.
