Shipping
Do I get my shipping cost if I ship not using any of the shipping companies (Ebay, UPS, USPS, etc) ? I want use my local post office where I know it will cost me less than what ebay quoted because my item is a letter sized envelop instead of packages. What do you all think?

The shipping paid by the buyer is in your payment account and will be part of the amount paid out to you after eBay deducts their fees.
Remember that a letter does not include tracking, so if your buyer says not received you will have to issue a full refund.

Mentor2 years agoThe buyer sends item price + shipping that you display + sales tax. You can then use whatever service you wish to send the item to your buyer. If you use first class envelope, you cannot use ebay to print the label, as ebay only prints labels for packages that include TRACKING. If you ship at the post office without tracking, if the buyer files an Item Not Received case, you will refund item price + shipping since you do not have proof of delivery.
