Question

I did not know how to print labels etc. & just mailed the package down at the Post Office. i know this is not the correct procedure but i had an email from buyer with address & i told him i would mail out mon./today early. i was trying to comply by sending it out in 2 days & please the customer. i did just that to honor my commitment.

i now have a bill from ebay for shipping. Then the cost for me for shipping was considerably less & i paid it. I will work & gain knowledge but for now i am just asking for help .

You donâ€™t have to use eBay shipping, but it is worth learning since it will save you money.

eBay doesnâ€™t send a bill for shipping. If a label was created, and you did not use it, void it - youâ€™ll get a refund in about 3 weeks.

Go to Manage shipping labels.
Find the item you'd like to void the shipping label for, then from the Actions column, select Void Label.
Choose your reason for voiding the label.
Select Send request.

Then go to your list of sold orders and click add/edit tracking. Enter the tracking # from your receipt from the PO to report your item shipped. This will also send the tracking # to your buyer.

-First: check this page and the Recent Activity file on the right and confirm that you were paid for the item: Seller Hub | Your financial summary | eBay

-Next, you need to manually load the tracking number on the sold item, that number will be on the receipt you got at the Post Office, this is for your protection

-You NEVER ship to an address in a message from anyone, you lose your Seller protection if the Buyer claims they did not receive the item.

-You have only sold one item in the last 90 days. The sale was on February 10th, is that the one you are talking about?
