Shipped two orders in one box but printed two labels by accident.
Hi, On my first sale I was asked to ship two orders in one box. I printed both labels by accident, instead of combining the orders. Now it looks like one of the orders hasn't arrived and funds for that one are on hold. I tried cancelling the label, adding in the correct tracking number and I've contacted the buyer. Still nothing has worked to get this resolved. What can I do?

Did you add the new tracking number to the second item? Your funds will be released but it may take up to 31 days due to the tracking error and because you are a new seller. Payout Holds
Next time you need to use Bulk Label so that the tracking is automatically added to both items. Select all items in an order on this page> https://www.ebay.com/sh/ord/?filter=status:ALL_ORDERS
Select getting shipping label from the top of the list.
Next screen say yes to combine and adjust the package size and weight as needed.

OP2 weeks agoUnfortunately, the label was prepaid and can't be canceled. And I've tried to add the new tracking number but other than the 'note' section I can't see where to add it. It won't allow me to 'edit' in the new tracking. So frustrating!

Mentor2 weeks ago · Edited@caro4767 Did you pay for the label from eBay? It should be able to be canceled if it was not scanned. What is the exact message you see when trying to cancel the label?
To add the tracking number:
Try going to this page on a computer> https://www.ebay.com/sh/ord/?filter=status:ALL_ORDERS Click EDIT next to the existing tracking number. Then select ADD

1) If you bought the unused label on eBay, you can cancel that label to get a refund
Here's how to cancel (or void) an unused shipping label you purchased on eBay:
- Go to Manage shipping labels: https://www.ebay.com/ship/labels/my-ebay
- Find the item you'd like to cancel the shipping label for, then from the Actions column, select CANCEL.
- Choose your reason for canceling the label.
- Select Cancel shipping label.
You have 28 days to cancel a label. The refund will come about 21 days after you cancel.
2) If you bought the label on another platform, you should be able to cancel it on that platform
3) You likely can't add the actual tracking number to the 2nd item now. You'll get paid, it just will be 30+ days.
