shipped item scanned in error -
Shipped out a sold item yesterday. Post office mistakenly scanned it too many times, which reflected that it had been dropped at the post office AND simultaneously delivered. Now I cannot scan for its location at all. Post Office says to wait a couple days--come back if no update to the scanning has occurred and they will try to erase the "Delivered" scan. I can't seem to message this update to my buyer, who brought the mistake to my attention yesterday. I know she's wondering what is going on. I'd like to at least be able to give her the information that I found out, as I told her I would ask at the post office. Anyone had this happen before?

Mentor7 months ago@olivia365. This has happened before. The package usually gets another scan as it's on it's way then the tracking updates.
I suggest giving it a few days. Thank the buyer for their patience and assure them that they will get their item or a refund. If it does actually get lost then you file a postal insurance claim.
