Shipped an item with tracking, buyer says the bag arrived empty, is asking for a refund.
The buyer purchased an item and says the bag arrived empty. There is a label on the bag (not official USPS label) saying it was missing or damaged. How do I deal with this situation? I shipped USPS Ground Advantage (per the buyer's request) it had tracking and $100 insurance from USPS. Anyone have experience filing a successful claim with USPS for Ground Advantage? The website is a nightmare. Do I have any kind of seller's protection with Ebay since I did my part and shipped on time with tracking? Please advise.

You file the claim with usps - eBay does not offer any additional protection.
If the package arrived damaged with a label from usps that says contents missing or damaged, the claim should be straightforward. If there is no visible damage to the package, they will probably say that you did not seal it properly. You won’t know until you file the claim. If they deny, you file an appeal.
