shipment sent back due to insufficient funds - USPS priority box used

I shipped an item to a buyer and it got returned to me as insufficient funds. I had a USPS 'priority' box lying around so I used it. Lesson learned. Never again. So I simply packed the item up in a different box (not a USPS box) and purchased a new label and have shipped the item. I doubt I'll get those funds 'refunded' to me for that initial shipment and that is OK. The issue is, now I have 2 - tracking numbers on this item being shipped. It will not allow me to delete the original shipment which got returned to me. I had to add a tracking number and am unable to delete the original tracking number. Got it and understood. Well...in my defense all of those were completely covered up with duct tape. They were not visible at all as i had gotten this box on a shipment to me.

Hi @dankjazz

Yes, both tracking #s will be shown on the transaction as they show the full shipping history. That's how it works and doesn't pose any problem.

You will not be refunded for the first shipping label as it was used. There are markings all over the Priority carton (inside and out) stating that it can be used with Priority Mail shipping only.
