Mentor10 months agoYou the seller file the claim. Have buyer send you photos of outside package, contents, and especially any damage notice place on the package by the carrier to send in with the claim. Note that buyer may be required to present the item for inspection, so make sure they are will to do that. Note that most claims will be initially denied, especially if hidden damage or packaging was insufficient.
You can also offer buyer a partial refund for a repair, otherwise if you want the item back before refunding accept the return, but this will void any carrier claim.

Have the buyer provide pictures of the damaged item and packaging.
Seller refunds the buyer regardless of the claim status.
