"ship to" showing too many countries
My listing shows a gezillion countries under "ship to," but I did not choose international shipping. My other listing shows only the United States. They both have the same shipping method. What's going on?

Mentor2 years ago@felixsylvestris I am not seeing any active listings for you right now, that can happen if the listing is still in the queue and not indexed yet. What is the item number ?
Are you signed up for eBay International Shipping Program? If so then YOU are not shipping internationally, eBay is.
I like to use the eBay International Shipping Program. It's easy to use and all you have to do is ship the item to the EIS package forwarding center in the US. eBay handles the customs paperwork and ships the item to the buyer. Once the package leaves the US eBay handles all refund requests and you keep the sale, this is a great benefit for sellers.
The buyer pays you for the item and the shipping to the Illinois forwarding center and they pay eBay for international shipping and customs fees if they are due.

OP2 years agoThe listings are not yet active. I don't want international shipping. I don't understand why one of my listings shows so many countries under "ship to" when I did not choose international shipping.

Mentor2 years ago@felixsylvestris You can opt out of the EIS program if you wish. I really recommend using it though since it's 100% risk free and all YOU do is ship to the US forwarding center in Illinois. When you are enrolled in the EIS program ONLY items that qualify based on the program rules will offer EIS shipping.
ANY item that qualifies and DOES NOT have a direct international shipping option offered will have the eBay EIS program unless you OPT OUT.
I wish that domestic shipping had the same protections and eBay refunded buyers for all reason like they do with EIS.
You can OPT out at the top of this page> https://www.ebay.com/ship/prf
