Ship to Authenticator By Date
Hello! I'm a ebay seller and I want to know if I will be persecuted for not shipping to the authenticator by the date on the listing. The mail room at my college (where I ship from) only ships items once a week on Thursdays. But my listing says I need to ship it by the Tuesday before. I am not able to ship it by then even if I give them the package earlier or ask them to ship on a different day. I contacted customer service which was unhelpful. Let me know if yall know.

Mentor2 years ago@na-18237 You will have a late shipping defect on your seller rating. You must always ship within your stated handling time. Can you take the package to the post office yourself?
If you can't ship on time then you should notify your buyer of the delay so they are not left wondering where the package is, notifying the buyer does NOT protect you form the late defect but might protect you from negative feedback.
You should update the handling time on your active listings to 5 days so you do not have any other late shipments.
How to use bulk edit on a computer to update the handling time:
1. Go to this active listings page : https://www.ebay.com/sh/lst/active
2. Put a checkmark next to all items.
3. Select edit from the top of the list
4. Select all items again
5. Select edit fields on the upper left> handling> edit and submit
