Ship to Australia?

I've been asked to consider packing a large item and sending it to a buyer in Auckland, New Zealand. They are telling me I just need to add New Zealand as a delivery country and eBay will work out the shipping and charge them. Anyone have experience with this? I would like to get paid UP FRONT, too.

You can see if eBay will let you opt into the eBay international shipping program, here - https://www.ebay.com/ship/prf

You would still have to package it, which would be costly. The max weight for international shipping is 44LB, and that includes the crate.

You would not be paid up front - your payment would probably be held 30 days.

I would tell the buyer sorry, but you are not able to offer any shipping on this item.
