Share Feedback: Buyer is no longer on eBay.
I'm being asked to leave feedback for a user that did not pay for the item they purchased. The item was never sent, so I don't need to worry about that part. But how do I get rid of the request from eBay to leave feedback? The user is no longer on eBay, so I cannot open up an update item dispute. And none of the other options match the situation. The only other option is to choose the positive feedback button and leave a negative review. Any ideas or suggestions on how to take care of this?

In your Account settings in the General preferences section you can turn OFF the notification that you need to leave FB: Communication Preferences
Sadly, the item will remain on your Leave Feedback page for 90 days despite the fact that Feedback can only be left by either party up to 60 days. This is a long standing bit of poor programming that I brought to eBay's attention well over a year and a half ago. Any Unpaid item gets stuck for 90 days, I have 4 right now that I am waiting to drop, it is EXTREMELY annoying that they can't drop it since the transaction was completed.
Since the Buyer is No longer registered and if you get tired of seeing that item on your Leave FB page you can leave them a Positive FB and just type the year you became a member ... something like "Member since 2013". We can't leave a negative statement on Positive FB but just stating when you became a member is no negative, just a statement of fact.

OP1 year agoThank you so much! This information was very helpful! If it will just fall off in 90 days, I'll just wait for it to disappear. Thanks again for your help with this!
