Shady seller, cancelled after I had won, then relisted a week later.

Question

I won an auction from a seller and paid within minutes of winning. A half hour later I get a refund saying it is no longer available. Ok, but then a week later the person relisted it at a much higher price. Obviously unhappy with the price I won it for. I have contacted Ebay 5 times over this and no action has been taken. The person is still trying to sell the item.

I cant believe Ebay wont do something about it.

The seller received a defect on his selling record for the cancellation. Too many of those, and he won't be selling for long. eBay will track the seller's behavior, but they can't force him to ship or stop him from relisting.
