Several shipping addresses
I am the seller . The buyer contacted me before paying and asked if it could be sent to location b upon payment , after payment was made they gave an address to ship to location c. Their profile has location a listed .all of these locations are several hundred if not thousand miles apart . I asked for confirmation of shipping address but have not heard back .

·2 years agoThe buyer has the ability to enter a different shipping address during checkout. Tell the buyer you will cancel the sale due to a problem with the buyer address. Relist as fixed price and instruct the buyer to purchase with the actual address they want to use. Buyer could be a scammer.
There is a new disruption where some bidders are required to submit an autopay method prior to bidding. If the buyer does not pay attention to select or confirm the payment method and shipping address prior to bidding, they may win an auction with all the wrong info in place. Be prepared to cancel and relist or cancel and report.

Mentor2 years ago@shopdarlingmountain You must ship to the address that is provided at checkout. The buyer can change the address on the checkout page if they want it shipped somewhere else. Otherwise you will not have tracking proof of delivery for not received refund requests.
If they didn't change the address before paying then you need to cancel the sale as problem with buyers address, however you are not required by eBay to cancel.
Then the buyer pays again and enters the correct address at checkout.

Mentor2 years agoThe seller cannot change the shipping address provided by the buyer at checkout. You would lose seller protection with tracking. You would have to cancel the transaction and have the buyer repurchase, providing the correct address. Are you sure this is the same person contacting you?
