Set of books for $25 sold on ebay mistakenly for $1.
I listed "Beaton Mysteries: Agatha Raisin & Hamish Mcbeth" on ebay. Description stated that 15 hc books were, $25. Total for 42 hc & pb = $65. This was my first post on ebay and I did not understand that the blank for "price" would indicate my selling price. I typed in "$1" simply as a holding amount since, because the prices varied according to # of books selected by buyer, I could not type in $25 - $50 - $65". Someone has bought the books for $1 and ebay is asking me to send the shipment (postage for all 42 books: $4!).
I have tried following all the directions to cancel this but get lost in the instructions.
In addition, ebay has done several things to my other listings...such as extending an auction time beyond the week I agreed to and making a special offer of a $25 set of books for $20.
Can anyone help me? Is it possible to talk to a real person at ebay? Or a real community member. Thank you. Wendy wendybooks5820@gmail.com

You should end your active listings before someone else buys a batch for $1.
You can’t say 5 for $15 etc in a listing - you must specify the price. If you want to sell 5 for $15, then you create a listing for those 5 with a price of $15.
Send your buyer an apologetic note explaining your error. Perhaps they will not leave bad feedback.
You are expected to complete the sale since you set the price, but no one can force you to ship. To cancel the sale, you must give yourself a bad mark (defect) on your selling account. More than a few of these, and eBay will restrict your ability to sell.
In your list of sold items, select cancel transaction next to that one. Then select ‘I m out of stock/can’t complete transaction’. This will refund your buyer - you must fund the refund, then eBay will release the buyer’s payment and reverse the fees.
