sent wrong item by mistake, now what??
I accidentally sent an incorrect item to a customer. Of course, I will send the correct one asap. My questions are: 1. can i purchase another shipping label from ebay to send the correct item? Or, do I need until the customer returns the item? That leads me to my second question.. 2. How do I provide a shipping label to the customer? I'm so mad at myself for doing this.. ugh Thanks for any advice if anyone has some 🙂

You'll find the Get another label option in the dropdown next to the order transaction (click the three dots) to purchase a label to ship the correct item to your buyer. If your buyer is willing to ship the item he received back to you, you can purchase a return label through an online website such as Pirate Ship and then email the .pdf file to the buyer.

The Buyer is under no obligation to ship the wrong item back to you. However, some may be willing to do that. If you printed the label for the correct item through eBay that tracking number will be on record on the sold file. However, the first tracking number that is scanned will be the one used by eBay for your protection.
I swapped labels and messaged both customers with my error and let them know I would refund their out-of-pocket expense for a label to ship the item(s) back to me. You can consider doing that too, just stay in touch with the customer letting them know what you are doing and asking what they are willing to do. They may want to wait for the correct item to arrive before they agree to anything.
