Sent wrong item and need to send correct item.

Question

I sent the wrong Blues Jersey to a buyer and need for them to return and I want to send the correct one. My problem is how do I send them the return postage label to send the wrong back and mail the correct one.

eBay does not handle exchanges well. No matter what you do, you are relying on the buyer to help you.

If you have your buyer open a return, they can print a return label through eBay, but then they need to close the return before you have to issue a refund. You could ask them to open the return but hold the item until they receive the correct item.

You can create your own return label at pirateship.com, print it to a jpeg file and send that to the buyer in an eBay message. You are then trusting your buyer not to open a return through eBay to get a refund for the item they are returning.
