Sending orders thru amazon
Today I received something I ordered thru ebay, but came via Amazon. The seller sent it to me as if it were a gift. Item was $9 cheaper on Amazon, where I should’ve ordered from anyway. I ordered the same item twice by mistake. Big mistake. Now I don’t trust the seller to reimburse me when I send one of them back., since he was sketchy sending thru amazon…what to do?

Mentor2 years agoDropshipping from Amazon is a policy violation, and you can report the seller here:
https://www.ebay.com/help/action?topicid=4022
In the same report, you can mention that the seller misrepesented the item location as well.
If you received an item that is not as described (seller did not disclose he was dropshipping from Amazon), you have up to 30 days to open a return using the option next to the transaction in your Purchase History. The seller will have 3 business days to provide a prepaid return shipping label or else refund. If he does neither, go back to the case on day 4 and use the option to ask eBay to step in. They will force the refund.
