sending invoice to international buyer
I have a buyer over seas (I'm in the US), who wants to combine multiple items into one package that he bought from me. The items meet ebays criteria for combining items for international shipping, but it did not allow him to do so. Also i get a message saying I can't send this person an invoice either. The shipping cost is very prohibitive otherwise. The three items are relatively small and could fit in a regular size package and avoid three separate charges. Is there a way around this?

Mentor2 years ago@tamrats6 eBay is rolling out the option so that buyers can combine shipping by making ONE payment for all items in their cart. This way the buyer receives a shipping discount automatically and you can ship in one package. This is only going to work for similar items.
This is what I do>>>
EIS orders can't be manually combined without doing a work around.
Ask the buyer NOT to pay until all auctions are ended. Make sure you don't have auto unpaid cancelation set up for too short of a time OR add the buyer to your exemption list.
Auto Unpaid> https://www.ebay.com/Cancel/Preference/UnpaidPurchase
Exemption list> https://www.ebay.com/bmgt/ExemptBuyers
Then let your buyer know how you will combine the orders....
Cancel all of the sales as problem with buyers address.
Relist combining ALL of the items into ONE Buy It Now listing. This can only be done if the items are similar and from the same category due to customs regulations.
To save time so you don't have to take new pictures save a copy of the main photo from each of the other listings to upload onto the new listing. Right click on the photo and select save as... name it something easy to find. The photo will be saved to your download folder, not the pictures folder.
Then you can just add the saved photos to the new listing.
