Selling: Problem with "offer free shipping"

Question

I click on "offer free shipping," but the website insists on requiring me to calculate cost of shipping to the buyer. So, I skip that and finishing the rest of the stuff, then go to "Preview." Nowhere in sight is anything related to "free shipping" or "price includes shipping." Furthermore, the text I write has all words separated by a space. In the listing . . . words are jammed together. The automaton in the help section apparently has no idea what I'm talking about.

I used to love selling on eBay. But that was several years ago when the site seemed far easier and far more intuitive.

Whether you offer free shipping or not, you still need to select your shipping options. If you want to pick up the cost of shipping yourself, then check the box for free shipping. See example below:
