I have made 4 sales since March 11th.1st sale sold for $110 > ebay earned $20.51 > actually received $76.012nd> $9.00 > ebay earned $4.56 > actually received ?3rd> $5.00> ebay earned $2.01 > ?4th> $7.00> ebay earned $3.95 > ? Thats 28% of my total earnings ebay earned

The standard fees are generally 13.6% of the total from the buyer including tax and shipping. Plus a per order fee of $.30 or $.40. If you promote your items, that incurs additional fees.

When shipping is a large % of the item price - like $6 shipping on a $9 item, it pushes your fee % up substantially when you are basing the % on jut the item price.

6 + 9 = 15 x 13.6% = 2.04

2.04 ./. 9 = 22.7%

Add the sales tax to the calculation and the fee % grows larger. Plus I’ve ignored the $.40 or $.30 per order fee.
