Selling on ebay
Is a “seller†account required to sell on ebay?
that seems ridiculous. I have an occasional item I want to sell. Im not a business in any way. Ebay wants personal data and wants to take taxes out what I sell! I won’t sell $1000 worth of merchandise in a year.
of course, ive already sold a couple items, now they want yo hold my money until I give them my full ssn. That seems over the line to me. I just want paid and close this nonsense down.

Yes, you do have to register as a seller and provide your banking information if you want to sell and get paid, just like the millions of other Ebay sellers have done.
