selling items above $1,000

Question

I have items that may sell above $1K. I need some information on the following questions :

A- are there any general precautions or requirements when listing high value items.

B- does eBay offer or recommend providers of appraisals or estimates of the item(s).

C- when the item sells, does eBay offer an escrow service or certification of the buyer.

D- are jewelry/gemstones, antique hand made oriental carpets, furniture or art objects

in need of special handling prior to listing.
