Selling in the USA
Hello!
We are a seller from Europe and we already sell on ebay in Europe.
We now want to sell in the USA via Ebay as well - how does this work? We would ship within the USA from a warehouse in the USA to a customer. Can we use our European account or would we need to register completly new?

OP6 months agohi! Thanks! we do have our own inventory in the us, so we woult not forward any inventory.

Mentor6 months ago@biomat-shop. If you are not shipping from Puerto Rico but have your inventory in US then I know for sure it is considered forward deployed inventory.
Either way in order to move forward you need to contact customer service. We are volunteers and can't access accounts.

OP6 months agoTheoratically we are not a new seller as we can use our account here in the US. Also, we are located in Austria but are registered on ebay.de - both countries Austria and Germany are not listed on the page you mentioned.
Existing Sellers: eBay has automatically examined to see if existing seller accounts have good forward-deployment selling history. Those with good forward-deployment selling history have been permitted to continue forward deployment.
It says on the top:
This policy applies to items shipped by a seller from a warehouse in a country different from the seller’s registered address with eBay.
This actually affects us. We are registred in Austria and we shop from Austria. But now we als want to ship within the US from our US warehouse.
I just created the first listing on ebay.com which went fine but when I visit our store front everything is in German and when I change it to English it is also in English on ebay.de.
Tbh this is pretty complicated. It is much easier on Amazon.

You can try eBay customer service on social media.
Contact customer service by sending a PRIVATE message on social media. Customer service verifies your identity before responding.
