·2 years agoThe symbols indicate the page content has not fully loaded. Save for later, or refresh the page. Clear cache, etc, to get fresh stylesheets and scripts. If you still see strange symbols, there may be some browser addon that is blocking one of eBay's styles or scripts. I presume the symbols are the drop arrows, and that they may still function - but not if the related script is missing.
