Selling error/suspension
Hello, I was needing some help with my eBay selling account. I have been running a trading card reselling business and my son just recently started his own eBay account (under my supervision). These two account share personal information and details therefore connecting these accounts together. My son unknowingly got permanent suspension on his eBay account for posting fake listings. Why does this affect my ability to create listings? I’m currently not able to sell on eBay on my personal account with an error pop up once completing a listing. I can buy as normal but I would be happy to have this issue fixed with my account to get my side hustle back in store!

Mentor5 months agoUnfortunately there is no way around this problem. eBay associated your accounts because they shared the same information. eBay has suspended both accounts to prevent your son from using your account to get around his suspension. This has been eBay policy for many years. Although it may seem unfair eBay really has no way of know who exactly is using the account so they do this to protect buyers from sellers who have been suspended.
