Selling cds
Could I please get some clarification on selling bootleg and unofficial cds. I understand that it is supposed to be not allowed. However, I have seen numerous bootlegs being sold on eBay, and in years past as a buyer, I purchased some myself. I am now a seller, and I really enjoy it. I do have some bootlegs and unofficials I would like to sell, some that I see being posted by other sellers. I want to do the right thing. So what’s the deal with the bootlegs? Thanks for any responses.

Mentor2 years agoBootleg cds are illegal to sell anywhere including on eBay. The musician isn't paid for their work.
Even though you may see other listings, it does not mean the item is allowed.
✓ The other listings you see are like the cars speeding by on the highway. Some people get away with it, but it is wrong nonetheless.
I know it is hard to understand when you see the listings but trust me, sellers who violate policies do get caught.
