I am curious. I am an individual. How does one make money selling these books so cheap and shipping them for free? I hope you, or EBay, will respond because I can't see anywhere how this can be done. Shipping charges are mor than the price you are selling at.
Thanks, everyone. I will just have to send the books to the landfill. Not worth the effort to sell them. (And I am not going to give them to a big seller so they can profit off me.)
Just to add - this is a mega seller - 4 million books sold. Book sellers of this size get a very reduced media mail rate because they deliver packages in large batches pre sorted to a hub.
From purchases I have made from mega sellers, they use a 3rd party service. I don’t know if they contract directly with the PO or the service. I think I saw a note on the usps price schedules about volume discounts for something like 50,000 annual shipments.

You could give them to goodwill, or see if a local charity shop can use them. Better than the landfill.

Some sellers may sell an item at a loss to attract buyers to their items hoping they will purchase additional items that sell at a profit.
