selling anesthesia machine on ebay
I recently listed a anesthesia machine on Ebay. There are several similar to the one I listed, and a few of the same machine. The machine was immediately removed stating you can not sell items that require a prescription. I contacted Ebay and was told I could relist it because it doesn't require a prescription. About a month later, I listed the machine again, and it was immediately remove stating the same thing. When I called yesterday, I was told I would be banned from Ebay, if I relisted it, and it was dinging my seller rating. She could not answer why other people, could list the same machine, why it states prescription, why the other agent said I could, or really anything, other than I would be banned from Ebay.
Has anyone noticed that the agents at Ebay will tell you different things, and they really like to put you on hold lately. I was on hold for an hour and a half one day before I just hung up.
Any help would be greatly appreciated,

If Ebay removed your item, do NOT relist it because Ebay will suspend you.
Ebay Customer Service agents are sometimes incorrect.

OP3 years agoI appreciate the input. The only reason I relisted it, was because I was told, I could. I guess it just bothers me because there are at least 2 of the same machine on Ebay right now.
