Selling an Item with a Mistake on the Listing
I've tried to contact Ebay support through the website, but it is really bad. Also, their assistant doesnt have an topic option for my issue.
Yesterday I sold and shipped a new item for Ebay Authentication. However, today in the morning I realized there was a mistake on it. The mistake is the shoe size. I listed 8.5 and sold as is, but the actual shoe size is 9.5. I wanted to get in contact with someone from Ebay to let me know what I can do to have it fixed. If the sale will be voided, which can be, and if there will be any fees on my selling account.

OP1 year agoDo I need to initiate anything for the refund to the buyer? Or is it all automatic. Didn't see that info there.

Mentor1 year agoWhen the authenticator shows that it is not as described, they will initiate the refund to the buyer. It is out of your hands.
From that link:
If the inspector cannot determine that the product is authentic, or if the product is not as described in the listing, the item won't be sent on to the buyer and they will receive their money back.
If the authenticator determines your item's condition doesn't match the item condition you provided in the listing, we'll refund the buyer and return the item to you.

Mentor1 year agoIf you have already shipped the item there is nothing you can do now.
The item will be rejected and should be returned to you.
