I received this message re and item I am selling... Is this a scam?
Hey, just wanted to give you a heads-up about a minor hiccup I encountered with the 'Buy Now' option on your item. I've attempted to complete the payment multiple times, but I keep receiving an error message indicating that the payment was declined. After a direct chat with the tech support team, they clarified that this issue is fairly common with new accounts like mine. It appears that certain seller accounts, such as yours, haven't been configured to accept immediate payments from brand-new accounts yet. They recommended that I reach out to you and provide this link where you could enable the options for immediate payment for new or recent accounts. Doing so would significantly streamline the purchasing process for new users interested in your items, myself included.

Mentor2 years agoTotal scam. That is not an option that eBay has. All sellers can accept payments from all buyers. There are no restrictions on new users payments.

Mentor2 years agoThis is a SCAM. Do not respond to this scammer. They are violating multiple eBay policies. There is a report link in their message. Please report their message so eBay is alerted and can take action.
