What does it mean when you sell an item and then it it says buyer is still shopping and it will auto pay in 7 days? How can I avoid this?

Mentor9 months ago@kaye2816 If you want to require buyers to provide a payment method before bidding BUT do want to allow the buyer to keep shopping for 7 days then you need to NOT allow invoices on this page> https://www.ebay.com/ship/prf Then the payment method that was provided will be charged one hour after sale.
Autopay is when you as a seller require buyers to provide a payment method before making a bid or offer.
The setting is in buyer requirements in account settings> https://www.ebay.com/bmgt/buyerrequirements
If you require buyers to provide a payment method prior to bidding AND allow combined shipping in your account settings then the buyer may choose to keep bidding for 7 days before paying. This is a change that many auction sellers asked for. You can read about the 7 days to pay for combined shipping on auctions here>
