Selling
I sold an item but buyer hadn't paid so I went to check order. It says buyer wants to shop more and payment will go through automatically on May 2 if they don't check out sooner.
What is this? I have never seen it before. I don't want to wait a week for payment.

You can go back to not requiring a payment method before bidding and cancel as unpaid on the 5th day after the sale if the buyer has not paid.
If you want to require buyers to provide a payment method before bidding BUT do not want to allow the buyer to keep shopping for 7 days then you need to NOT allow invoices on this page> https://www.ebay.com/ship/prf Then the payment method that was provided will be charged one hour after sale.
Autopay is when you as a seller require buyers to provide a payment method before making a bid or offer.
The setting is in buyer requirements in account settings> https://www.ebay.com/bmgt/buyerrequirements
If you require buyers to provide a payment method prior to bidding AND allow combined shipping in your account settings then the buyer may choose to keep bidding for 7 days before paying. This is a change that many auction sellers asked for. You can read about the 7 days to pay for combined shipping on auctions here>
