Selling
I sold a diamond pendant on Wednesday 3/11/26.
Its Friday 13th AND I STILL DONT HAVE MY FUNDS FROM THIS SALE.
EBAY HASNT RESPONDED TO ANY MESSAGES AND IM **bleep** AT THIS POINT. THIS IS MY FIRST SALE AND I QUALIFIED FOR EXPRESS PAYOUT.
WTH!

As a new seller, you are subject to payment holds - usually up to 31 days. learn about payment holds here:

Express payout kicks in once your pending payment has been released, after the hold.

OP6 months agoThat's **bleep**..buyer pays like I do RIGHT AWAY, its only 150 bucks **bleep**...second guessing selling on this platform now

Sorry for your disappointment. 😞 eBay wants to make sure the money is available for a refund in case the buyer files a return request ... which is more likely to happen with new sellers. And dormant accounts ... like yours ... are often hacked.

Sorry, but these are the terms you agreed to when you listed your item. It affects all new/infrequent sellers.

Mentor6 months agoNew and infrequent sellers can have their payouts held for up to 31 days. I have been selling for over 20 years and was invited to opt into Express Payouts several months ago, but why pay $2 for each express payout when you can opt for daily payouts after your hold period is no longer in effect (after 90 days of selling, 25 transactions, over $250 in sales) ?
