Selling
I posted a refresh online somebody purchased it and it was on hold until August 15 after they received it. The ad said local pick up only but they wanted it delivered so I told them I don’t deliver. It’s only local pick up large item so they asked for a refund How do I refund somebody that I never got the money to begin with I told him to cancel it not ask for a refund. I felt like this is a scam. I don’t wanna get thrown off this site because of something stupid. I’ve never had this issue before help me because I cannot find a number to get in touch with somebody to talk to and that really annoys me. I’m starting to panic because I don’t know what to do

Don't panic!
Next to the order transaction, select Cancel order from the dropdown and select the reason for the cancellation as Buyer requested.

OP2 years agoThe person started a return on this and it’s not letting me choose to cancel anything. It wants me to print out a label to return it to him, but the money is still on hold so I have nothing to give him so I emailed them and told him exactly what I just told you I don’t know if this is gonna work. I feel like I’m gonna be kicked off the site for this. It’s never happened to me before

OK...the buyer should not have opened a return as he has nothing to return. However, you can accept the return and will have an option to refund or provide a shipping label. You'll want to choose to refund.
The refund may come from the held funds or it may come from your bank account. If it comes from your bank account, you are reimbursed when the held funds are released.
