If I list an item today, when is the 30 days up? 30 days from todays date or the 1st of January?
if I list an item today, after my 30 days, will I be charged a listing fee or is it always free as long as I don’t go over the 250 item?
Any words of advice on this selling journey?

It's 30 days from the listing date. Each time a listing auto renews, it counts towards your free listings.
