Selling 18+ Video Games on German eBay from the Netherlands – Shipping Issue
Hey,
I’ve been selling items on eBay for a some time now from the Netherlands, mostly using the German eBay site. I chose eBay Germany because eBay Netherlands lacks key features like preset international shipping tables and has strict selling limits for private sellers.
I’ve run into a problem selling 18+ rated video games (mostly PAL titles). German eBay requires that sellers use DHL’s “age verification on delivery†service for such listings, due to local law. The issue is that I ship everything from the Netherlands, and DHL does not offer this specific service here.
This leaves me stuck. I’m wondering if anyone else here has dealt with something similar, or has any insight or creative solutions?
Would really appreciate any ideas, experiences, or guidance!
