Sellers uping their price in their own auction.
I have noticed a pattern in sellers biding their own auction price up, instead of setting a reserve price.
It is a waste of my time, annoying and is what I consider dishonest.
What is ebays policy against this type of behavior by sellers?

It is impossible for a seller to bid on their own auction listing.
" Ebay has a number of systems in place to detect and monitor bidding patterns and practices. If we identify any malicious behavior, we'll take steps to prevent it."

OP3 years agoThat may be true IF YOU CHOOSE TO LOOK...its been my experience you dont.
Just like you have no care to allow those of us to choose not to buy from China or Russia.
After I recieve my last last item which is from china ugh.... I will no longer use ebay.
