Sellers that lie about location of product they are shipping.
Seller contact me after sale was completed and funds transferred to say product sold would be shipping from CHINA, and would that be Okay?
I said NO, it is NOT Okay.
I do not purchase items from CHINA through eBay, and your listing indicated the product would ship from the United States.
eBay should back my up on this, and not make it so difficult to receive a full refund of the purchase price paid.
PayPal is no better, as they are also of no assistance.
Therefore I have pursued it with Synchrony the Credit Card associated with my PayPal account.
But that only covered part of the purchase price paid, as over $225.00 came out of my PayPal balance.

OP2 years agoTheir refusal to help was the only reason I was left no alternative but to pursue other means.

Ebay does not issue refunds for item location discrepancies.
Now that you have pursued other means, Ebay cannot help you.

OP2 years agoIf eBay can't be trusted to publish truthful information like the country products will be shipped from, and will do nothing about sellers who willfully deceive buyers then I will not shop eBay ever again.
