Sellers shipping

Question

I live in the UK, and am having problems with items listed in the US - most listings say 'may not ship to United Kingdom' and won't let me place a bid - yet there is a long list of countries that the seller will post to - BUT the United Kingdom is never on the list, hence system won't let me bid - i've tried to ask sellers to adjust their Account Settings, or ask e-bay, but so far no-one has managed to solve the issue,

Any ideas??

@westlaney I am sorry but this is due to restrictions placed on MANY items by the UK
